From the Hymn AKATHISTOS to the Mother of God:
"Rejoice, Thou through whom joy will shine forth:
Rejoice, Thou through whom the curse will cease!
Rejoice, recall of fallen Adam:
Rejoice, redemption of the tears of Eve!".
From the Church:
"Since Mary is rightly to be regarded as the way by which we are led to Christ, the person who encounters Mary cannot help but encounter Christ likewise." (Bl. Paul VI).
To meditate on:
Look at Mary as the model that teaches us to know, study and meditate Jesus. Contemplate her living with Jesus in Nazareth, accompanying Him in his public life, present at the hour of the cross. Like no other, she kept in her heart all of Jesus' words and she put them into practice. Do you do the same? Do you try to listen to God's word, keep it in your heart, and put it into practice?
Pray 3 Hail Mary's to the Virgin Mary thanking her for bringing you close to Jesus and asking her to never stop doing so..
