From the Hymn AKATHISTOS to the Mother of God:
"Rejoice, firm support of faith:
Rejoice, radiant token of Grace!
Rejoice, Thou through whom hades was stripped bare:
Rejoice, Thou through whom we are clothed with glory!
Rejoice, O Bride Unwedded!"
From the saints:
"We should be delighted to remain in Mary. We should rest there peacefully, rely on her confidently, hide ourselves there with safety, and abandon ourselves unconditionally to her, so that within her virginal bosom: we may be nourished with the milk of her grace and her motherly compassion." (St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort).
To meditate on:
Think how this heart, in which you are invited to rest and find peace and security, is the heart of a Mother who was pierced with pain when her Divine Son died on the cross to save us. Contemplate this heart pierced by a sword. Ask her forgiveness for all the times that you have increased her suffering by your sins o by not accepting the salvation, which comes from God.
Do small acts of reparation for all the offenses that the Immaculate Heart of Mary receives, either with prayers or sacrifices.
