From the Hymn AKATHISTOS to the Mother of God:
"Rejoice, for Thou didst renew those conceived in shame:
Rejoice, for Thou gavest wisdom to those robbed of their minds!
Rejoice, Thou Who didst foil the corrupter of minds:
Rejoice, Thou Who gavest birth to the Sower of purity!"
From the saints:
"My Queen, be my advocate with thy Son, whom I dare not approach." (St. Francis de Sales)
Think about what it means when we say Queen referring to the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the Old testament we see how in the davidic royal line the Queen Mother played a very important role, and the title bought along with it privileges and special powers.
The Queen Mother intercedes in a special way before her Son, the King. Our King is Jesus Christ and our Queen in Mary. She intercedes for us before her Son. Think about how you shouldn't belong to another kingdom but Christ's Kingdom. This belonging to Christ's Kingdom comes with the duty, or more rightly the desire, that this kingdom of peace, of justice, of love… extends to all the hearts. Jesus should be our King and Mary, our Queen.
Today think about Mary a lot and greet her as "My Queen".
